There are roughly 11,800 miles of state, federal and interstate highways in Wisconsin, and a large portion of the roadside areas are kept beautiful by Adopt-a-Highway volunteers. WebThe county's Litter Control Crews are an important part of Neighborhood Services' efforts to assist citizens with safe and clean communities. Teams work along roadways, communities and at illegal dump sites to properly dispose of litter, debris and trash. Prince William County established a litter control program in the fall of 1997.
