WebSo you shouldn't have trouble getting the swing of things when playing Crystal. Aside from abilities being absent (introduced in Ruby and Sapphire) and the vast amount of moves and items added since then, the battling is more or less the same as UM. Like battling not changing much, the over world aspect hasn't either.
