WebThis trail in the Ochils is a nice circular trek through the mountain areas. The approach is quite difficult, but the routes are well-marked and the views are spectacular. Because the trails are somewhat steep, it is recommended to wear appropriate footwear. A variety of outdoor activities are possible along the route in this very diversified environment. The Ochil Hills are home to the Ochils Mountain Rescue Team (founded in 1971), a local division of the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland. The Ochils Mountain Rescue Team consists of 35 volunteer mountaineers with specialist training who "locate and recover people who find themselves in difficult situations in the outdoors."
